As we have been looking through our live tapes we undiscovered this gem. This band tours with Sigur Ros' as the backing band, and also opened for them on their last winter tour through North America. The video below was recorded live @ Joe's Pub in Febuary. Amina played with Without Gravity for "an evening of Icelandic Music".
It doesn't hurt that one of girls in Amina looks a lot like Mary Timony. Beautiful music made by beautiful people, we have no complaints.

"We are 4 friends who met while studying at the Reykjavik College of Music in the 1990s. Since then, we have been playing all sorts of music with all sorts of people together. In the spring 2004 we started cooking our own music, and in December that year we released our EP AnimaminA. "
