Three Syrup Room shows this week...Well this week brings a lot of good shows to Bushwick, a whopping three of them are at the Syrup Room. Things seem to be picking up there as I hoped. The Syrup Room, while still not officially legal as a concert venue, is increasing it's "private" events. There is also a space a few spots away on Ingraham which is officially open, or available for rent. The owners want to rent it out for parties, shows, and to the film industry. Wednesday's Devil in the Woods party has much hyped the Big Sleep, Vietnam, and Chapel Hill's Annuals among others. If you live in the neighborhood and want to get out, this is the week to do it. No need to take a shuttle bus or a cab to the city for CMJ.
