Kenan Thompson is not funny
SNL has been going downhill for years.
One cast member that really stands out as a downgrade is Kenan Thompson.
This guy belongs on the WB after midnight. He is just not funny, not
talented, and is a slap in the face to the other standout black comedians on SNL.
He can't hold a candle to Eddie Murphy, Tim Meadows, or Chris Rock.
Those guys were special.
Kenan your stupid skits, your giggling at your own unfunny jokes,
and your fat face disgust me.

Totally agree.
Sadly I could go on and on about this guy. Blows my mind that someone so bad can be paid money for his talentless garbage. His shitty eating grin during every single skit kills me. How does a producer of Snl allow this for 5 years!!???!?!?! Only in America.
He looks like some kid on the High School drama team. He's as talented as one too.
Kenan has been on the show way too long
He has not once,even remotely made me laugh. I cringe at most of his skits. He must have some juicy pictures in his safe deposit box of Lorne Michaels.

I don't know what Lorn Micheals deal is with keeping him. He cannot once say his lines without reading the cue cards or teleprompter. And that "What Up With That" skit is utterly annoying!! The people in the background don't do anything and he's just a waste of space!! I can't believe he's been on for so long! I thought snl is for people who are not known yet! Everyone knows him from Nickolodeon! And there are better black comedians out there! Those two new girls aren't very funny either! The other girls they had last year were way more talented than them.

So this post made me laugh a little bit mainly because I am 99% sure I have never heard of you before and you are insulting a man who is on national television every Saturday night. It just doesn't compute. Kenan seems like an ok guy and some of his skits are, in fact, amusing. But when you become nationally renowned, then I should be able to read this blog without giggling at the foolishness and irony.
I haven't watched his show. I think that I have to give it a try. But his name at least sound a little funny.
I'm going to call bullsh*t on Samiliz. There--I've called it. Apparently, according to Samiliz, the non-renowned should be uncritical of the renowned merely because they are renowned. Anyone who isn't renowned should be quiet in the face of the renowned, even when the renowned are idiots (viz. Dubyah). KT is *nationally* renowned because some people lack judgment when it comes to wit and humor. In the same way that people lack judgment with respect to wit, they also lack it with respect to politics; this is why Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are also *nationally* renowned. I have to hand it to the nationally renowned Kenan Thompson: He is talented. I have never seen someone so able to completely tune out the fact that he isn't funny, and so unable to recognize that the audience's laughter is strained and polite. He's so willfully obtuse that it could be called a talent. KT: Nationally renowned for being the willfully obtuse recipient of polite, strained laughter.
Reiger, you get a thumbs up. I hope Jay Pharoah is SNLs move to push Kenan off the show. Eight seasons is enough! I've laughed more at Jay his first episode more than I have at Kenans entire career.
