New Arcade Fire and Jose Gonzalez

The New Arcade Fire single is out now on Itunes. It's replaced
Twin Sister's "Lady Daydream" as single of the year. "Ready to Start" is
the uplifting roof raiser you came to expect from Funeral. I can't stop
listening to it. Please go pick up at Itunes now, and let it fill your
life with positive energy. The other new great single out now is "Always" from
Jose Gonzalez's reunited old band Junip. Can't wait for the full length.

MP3 removed by request.

Tuesday Mix Tape

Today's mix brings you 3 essential tracks for the week.
Even though
Bombay Bicycle Club's Flaws is getting bad reviews,
we are really liking the acoustic flavorings in their sophomore
release. The next track is from a new find of ours Yellow Fever.
From the soundtrack of the year so far comes
Vampire Weekend's
very catchy Jonathan Low. Bleeding into the hearts of young teens
all over middle America. It's a beautiful thing.

Yellow Fever - "Ratcatcher" MP3

Phil Cuzzi = Fail

Another MLB game, another blown call.
The play pictured above was called an out at home. You can clearly see his foot is already touching the base before the tag was applied. I've been ready for sometime to have K Zone call
the ball + strikes, and instant replays. This is getting out of hand now. Let's do the right thing now, and make the game more accurate.

Al Jefferson to the Utah Jazz

Just as things were looking down for the Utah Jazz this week happened.
First we have Snoop Dog caught at the airport wearing Jazz gear. If
that wasn't strange enough the Jazz made a bold move, and traded for
someone worth a damn. The T-wolves Al Jefferson.

This mix is for the Jazz fans out there that are feeling good
for once. 1 new remix, an exciting new track from Candy Claws, and an old favorite. Enjoy.

Them:Youth - "Fever Rising (Kinne Remix)" MP3

Candy Claws - "Sunbeam Show" MP3

FAtbOy SliM - "Praise You" MP3

Lebron to Heat

Lebron to the Miami Heat.

We have a very high powered source in the music industry with connections
to the King apparently. Over lunch today he informed that Lebron is
going down to Miami. I'll take that for what it's worth, because
NJ/Brooklyn makes a lot more sense to me.

At least the sad Heat franchise finally will have something to be happy about.

Can we finally put this soap opera to bed?

Snoop Doggy Dogg - "Ain't Nothing But A G-Thang" MP3

2 Pac - "Changes" MP3

New Music: Upstation

Coming from one of our favorite places in the world, Russia, we have Moscow's
Upstation. Sung in English with a dreamy 80's teenage yearning, this music
deserves it's time here in America. Excellently crafted "One Little Secret" would have
found a comfortable home on the Breakfast Club Soundtrack. Another strong track "No More Promises" has a nice blend of bass n' drums peppered with electronic goodness.
However , the highlight of their released new music is clearly "Get it On". The track
is dying for a remix, and the dance floors of all Manhattans Upper West side dance clubs.

We look forward to the what the future brings for Upstation. So far
it's a promising start.
